Biography
Veronika Paderni is an Italian-born contemporary artist raised in Florence, where she developed her artistic foundation through the city’s traditional bottega workshop culture. This early exposure to craftsmanship, art history and visual composition continues to influence her work today.
Working under the artistic identity Galaxy Epop, Veronika creates layered digital compositions that combine historical imagery, photography, popular culture, nature, symbolism and surreal visual association. Her work transforms familiar figures and cultural references into unexpected visual narratives shaped by color, contrast and imagination.
After developing her artistic practice in Miami, Veronika relocated to Asheville, North Carolina, where she continues to create and present her work. Her artworks have been exhibited at ArtLabbé Art Gallery in Coral Gables, the Coconut Grove Arts Festival, Gallery COR, the Asheville Art Museum and Gallery Three Poems.
Alongside her independent work, Veronika creates large-scale private commissions developed through personal research and symbolic storytelling. Some commissioned compositions also incorporate numerological analysis of names and birth dates as a creative tool for selecting archetypes, colors, symbols and imagery. Her finished works are presented primarily as Fine Art Pigment compositions under Acrylic Glass or on aluminum Dibond.
Artistic Practice
Veronika builds her compositions through digital collage, photography, art-historical references, symbolic imagery and layered color. Classical figures, cinematic icons, fashion, animals and elements of popular culture are brought together to create surreal narratives that invite personal interpretation.
The completed compositions are translated into high-resolution physical artworks, primarily as Fine Art Pigment under Acrylic Glass or on aluminum Dibond. This presentation gives the images depth, clarity and a strong contemporary presence, particularly in large-scale formats.
